My name is Berchie Kubi, a Ghanaian born film photographer, based in PG County Maryland. I fell in love with film photography over 4 years ago and have since decided to turn that love into a passion of mine. One of the many things that drew me to film photography is having the ability to capture moments in their purest forms. Moments that may seem insignificant, but forever mark that point in time, on one singular1.5 inch stretch of exposure, for all of us to remember, for all of time. With film photography, each shot requires a level of intentionality and thoughtfulness that I admire and dream to master. As I continue on this journey, I am excited to see where it will lead me and the stories it will allow me to tell.
